As a first time homebuyer Eric was really great to work with. He was always super helpful and available to help me through the process. He had a lot of connections who he worked well with to help shepherd me through the process and made things super easy. He went above and beyond in figuring out things for me as well as pushing forward all the other moving parts of the homebuying process. There were multiple times I was cc'ed on emails where I was glad he had gone ahead and put pieces into place that I didn't even know needed placing. He was not pushy at all and was able to help advise me to the right decision for me. Eric really helped guide me through the home buying process as a first time homebuyer. He made everything really simple and easy.
I was looking for help with two apartments which I was renovating - one for rent and one for sale. Never having rented except to family and friends before, I needed help to find trustworthy tenants. Since I hoped to have a condo available for a family member in two years I preferred tenants who were ok with a two year lease. I found Eric Raynor who promptly came to see me and the unit. Eric advertised the unit, and within 24 hours and two showings identified five financially able non smoking acceptable tenants he had pre-cleared. On his advice I rented to a pleasant French couple in the US for two academic years, and they have become friends as well as neighbors. The second unit was still under construction and was going to be sold as a two bedroom condo. This unit had to be sold at a price that covered the construction financing as well as producing some profit. Eric was helpful in recommending some design features that would be attractive to potential buyers. He suggested turning a large lofted space into a bedroom and den by the addition of a wall to separate the spaces. Upon finishing the unit Eric had it staged so it demonstrated the potential of all the spaces, including one under eave space that worked well as a childs play space. When we put the unit on the market in December I was worried it was a bad season for selling. Despite this Eric, with his marketing plan, was able to produce multiple showings, with more than forty people seeing the home. I was thrilled that we generated two offers and accepted one from a young academic family within a week. This sale was particularly complicated because it was a new condo with all sorts of required city permits for construction, fire safety and occupancy to be obtained, and required a lawyer familiar with local condominium transactions. Eric recommended two suitable local lawyers who could deal with condo conversion and an unusual lot requirement, and I have been completely satisfied with the one I used. After the offer was received Eric handled the negotiations as well as various inspections, meetings and other details with the buyers and their agent so the final sale went smoothly. I have mobility issues and do not hear well, so Eric has always been willing to meet at my house or the condo so I have never had to drive or park at his central office, or do business over the phone. I literally could not have known of or managed all the various selling/buying maneuvers without Eric's completely competent and very pleasant help.
